BACK!
BACK!
Jane's wedding was a blast! did the trademark "lurp" for the wedding photo. the speech was a lil too long but it will last a lifetime for the couple.
had to rush back ASAP then to ze airport (remember the Pepsi MAX chimp commercial?)
gohead gostan, i was on the plane slurping down Fruit Spritzer while watching Step Up. i fell asleep and the plane landed in Brisbane International Airport the next morning. met up with my Mum's friend family which took an earlier flight there.
got in to our van and were off to our apartment situated in the heart of the No. 1 beach in the world, Surfers Paradise.
the apartment we lived in was great. it's as big as an Executive HDB flat.
the view from my 13th storey balcony was simply awesome. i spotted these red and yellow flags which i thought was something from the Amazing Race. it actually means it's the "safe to swim" zone kinda thing.
wonderful huh? very MAT right?
we spent the first day exploring the neighbourhood with Hafiz and my sis. my sis got a few stuffs on the first day out while i got nothing. we thne got back to our crib looking to the next day to Movie World. tomorrow came and to Movie World it was!
there, we took kickass rides namely the Superman and Scooby Doo.
Superman: this ride goes from 0kph to 100kph in 2 seconds.you will experience 4.2 positive g-force and 1 negative g-force. it goes up and then down in like a near 90degrees plunge for like a couple of time. just gotta hold on tight.
Scooby Doo: very Panasonic-like in Escape Theme Park but better. it even moves backwards. how cool is that?
the 3rd day was then spent at Sea World. there aint that much rides there. but its the place for Hafiz for he's the Animal Laaverrr.
Sea World Eye, similar to the upcoming Singapore Flyer.
this is the part where my lil' bro squeezed my lil' bro.
the 4th day. we went to tengok buah (see fruit). was like -.- all the way.
after done fruit-ing, we then went to Danger Point. i tell you, it took my breath away. the wind is like *pooff* like the wolf in 3 lil' piggies.
went to Dreamworld the next day and it was the brud-sis place! we took all 5 Major thrill rides. total awesomeness.
met my other half there too!
the next day was then to Harbour Town, a shopping centre full of warehouses. 1st things first, THANK YOU HAFIZ! happy? -.-" got lots of stuffs there.
some stuffs i got from these. while the young ones went shopping, the older ones had other things in mind..................
what to do what to say, SINGAPOREANS! ((:
my family's last day in Brisbane was spent at Surfers Paradise and also to Carara Market, a flee market. very much like pasar malam + Bugis + Beach Road.
back to my crib and when we had nothing to do,
Plus: faddy-o-ler: 2, Dalileo: 1. DAMM!
yadablah yada yada back to Brisbane International and home sweet home. for Singapore, my homeland! there you go! an update on this trip.
